This guide will walk you through integrating the AdsPostX: Receipt Page Offers plugin with your Shopify storefront quickly, enabling you to boost revenue and sales by presenting personalized Offers to your customers on the order confirmation page.

AdsPostX is designed to increase revenue per order by showcasing tailored Offers to customers post-purchase. With its easy setup process and no-code solution, you can start earning more from each transaction and enhance customer satisfaction.

To experience AdsPostX in action, follow these steps to visit a live Shopify store example:

  2. Once in the store, add the free item to your cart.
  3. Proceed to checkout and complete the order process. No credit card information is required.
  4. Upon completing the order, you'll observe the AdsPostX unit appearing on the order confirmation screen.

Installation


  1. Access the App:
  2. Install the App:
    • Click "Install" to begin the installation process.
  3. Configuration:
    • After installation, you'll be redirected to the "AdsPostX Shopify Integration Page," where you can configure additional integration settings.
    • Ensure to review and agree to our terms and conditions to proceed with the integration process.
  4. Deploy Integration:
    • Once configured, deploy the integration by clicking the "Deploy" button on this page.
  5. Confirmation:
    • Upon successful deployment, you will receive a confirmation message indicating "Deployed to Shopify."

You can now proceed to test if the Offers appear on your Shopify store's order confirmation page after placing an order.

Customizing Offer Style

You have full control over customizing your Offer style with AdsPostX. Here's a simple guide to help you do just that:

  1. Access Theme Setup:
  2. Customize Offer Theme:
    • You'll be redirected to a page where you can customize various aspects of your Offer theme, including header/footer design, Offer text, and other interesting settings.
  3. Save Changes:
    • After adjusting the settings to your preference, click the "Save & Continue" button to apply your changes.
  4. Confirm Changes:
    • If you're satisfied with your modifications, click the "Yes" button to confirm the changes.

Now, you can proceed to test if the Offers appear with your newly customized style on your Shopify store's order confirmation page after placing an order.

After editing your theme style, please allow up to 10 minutes for the changes to take effect. This ensures that the updated theme settings are properly applied and reflected on your Shopify store.

Changing PayPal Email Address

If you need to update the PayPal email associated with your account, you can easily do so from the AdsPostX Shopify Integration Page. Here's how:

  1. Access Integration Page:
  2. Locate PayPal Email Section:
    • Look for the "PayPal E-Mail" section on the page.
  3. Edit PayPal Email:
    • Below this section, you'll find a text box displaying your current PayPal email. Edit it with your new PayPal email address.
  4. Save Changes:
    • After making the necessary changes, click the "Save" button to update your PayPal email.

By following these steps, you can ensure that your payouts are directed to the correct PayPal email address. It's important to keep this information up-to-date to avoid any payment delays or issues.

Payouts are automatically processed 60 days after the month's activity. For instance, activity in January is paid on or before March 31st.

Removing The Integration

If you wish to remove the integration from your AdsPostX dashboard, you can do so directly from the AdsPostX Shopify Integration Page. However, please note that this action cannot be undone. Here's how:

  1. Access Integration Page:
  2. Locate "Remove App" Section:
    • Look for a section named "Remove App" on the page.
  3. Initiate Removal:
    • Click on the "Remove" button within this section.
  4. Confirm Removal:
    • Confirm your choice by clicking on the "Yes" button when prompted.


Testing Integration



To test the integration and ensure it's working properly, follow these steps to complete a full cycle:

  1. Visit your store and place an order by adding items to your cart.
  2. Proceed to checkout and enter all the necessary order information.
  3. Complete the order process successfully.
  4. After the order is successfully processed, you should be directed to the last page displaying your order information.
  5. On this page, you should see a pop-up displaying Offers from your AdsPostX account.

Error Codes

Error Code 400

This error typically occurs when there is a problem with the request made to Shopify.

  • For example, if you've uninstalled the app from your Shopify store and then try to refresh the Shopify integration page, you will see a 400 error for the scripts.json file. This error indicates that Shopify cannot recognize the script associated with the uninstalled app, resulting in a failed request.

Error Code 401

This error indicates that the session created by Shopify is invalid. receiving a 401 error could signify that the app has been removed from the Shopify store.

  • When attempting to uninstall the app from the Shopify integration page after it has been removed from Shopify, the platform sends a request to Shopify's uninstall.jsonendpoint. However, since the session is no longer valid due to the app being uninstalled, Shopify returns a 401 error.
